They always think of the bad side to the relationship. They’ll always think your boyfriend/girlfriend will bring your grades down, turn you into a bad person, or marry and get you pregnant if you’re a girl. That’s annoying. What they don’t think about is the good side. The possibility that that boyfriend or girlfriend will make you a better person, get your grades up cuz you’re inspired. They don’t see that part in the relationship.
